[Yeah, this is still weird considering she's been an idol for all of her life back home... But also because she'll be doing this for the first time ever for her boyfriend, so have a bit sheepish girl on the network.]

So, ummm... Whoooooooooo else is possibly making some kind of homemade chocolate things or other gifts for Valentine's Day?

[There, good, it's out, she said it.]

I mean I'll be doing ... something.

[No spoilers to Jinu, and yes, she could have just hidden this from him but no, she didn't want to do that. Who knows, she may end up doing things for friends too, even she doesn't know that yet.]

And I was thinking-- Maybe it would be more fun to do them together?? Chaotic, maybe, depending how many of us would be there but sometimes that makes it even better. I have no idea where or when this would happen, just curious if anyone would be interested in something like that.

And for those of you, who may not know, I'm from South Korea, where it's traditional for girls / women to give chocolates to boys/men as a sign of affection, it's day of love and couples go on dates -- and this is not only in Korea, there's also a similar thing in Japan and maybe elsewhere too. And while stores always have and sell a lot of chocolate around that time, many also do homemade chocolate treats for them.

But it's more like a day for friendship elsewhere in the world, I guess, so you could make them for friends and family and found family and whoever else you want to make them too! So you don't have to make them only for boyfriends, girlfriends, lovers, and so on, I guess many do them for others too especially if they don't happen to be in a relationship with anyone.

[Has there ever been Valentine's Day chocolate chaos in the HUNTR/X penthouse's kitchen because of that? MAYBE!!, no one would be surprised by that at all.]

Also did you know there are 12 "love days" celebrated in Korea? Aside from this, there are also Diary Day (January), White Day (March), Black Day (April 14th), Rose Day (May), Kiss Day (June), Silver Day (July), Green Day (August), Photo Day (September), Wine Day (October), Movie Day (November), Hug Day (December)

... Damn, I guess he'll be busy on many 14ths with me.

[Wait, she didn't mean to say that out loud. Or well, they've been busy on any 14ths related to them on that list by now. Another sheepish grin and her touching her hair as if she's putting some of it behind her ear. It's on the usual braid, there are no loose hairs to put there, but anyway;]

I'll quit rambling, for now, but ummm, let me know if you'd be interested in that Valentine's Day thing and we'll figure something out for a place and time and everything! Oh, and this doesn't have to be only for girls here, this is open to everyone!

Part interest check, part plotting!

Sylus is a crime lord where he comes from, the unchallenged leader of an entire district that serves as a hub for crime, illicit trade, experimental research, and is strictly off-limits to civilians. Since he arrived in Ellipsa he has been taking the measure of the Underground and crime gangs here and for the most part has found them wanting. He's unimpressed and hasn't found it difficult to make a name for himself with them and around the Casino and Underground Mall.

One of the four 'suits' gangs has caught his attention, however, in a way that the others haven't. He finds the operations of the Hearts gang to be something more than worthy of complete eradication (we don't approve of human experiments in this house) and has decided to finally make a move on doing something about that.

While this could be something he could probably accomplish by himself, that wouldn't be any fun. So I'm trying to open it up to other people being involved as much as possible.

Around the 7th of February Sylus will put up a network post declaring his intentions. This will be the 'in' for characters who want to come along to do anything from making a lot of noise to outright sabotage and combat, though Sylus will be reserving dealing with the head of the snake for himself. He does intend to just cut said head off (this means murder). I'm open to having him persuaded to not do a lot of murders but if anyone wants to try we'd probably have to talk it through as he definitely sees this as the easiest way to solve the problem.

Once the Hearts gang is dealt with their base will be open for examination and retrieval of any research/subjects they didn't dispose of on their way out. While they won't be utterly destroyed they will be greatly reduced in number and on the run, and won't be making any kind of comeback for a while.

Sylus himself won't be taking over the gang or any existing one, but after this is likely to be starting his own (name pending). I'd look to put a log up for the actual raid around the 9th, with an aim to have everything ICly resolved before the TDM goes up on the 13th.

TL;DR

NOTES: It is likely common knowledge through the locals gossip that this is happening. The Happy Bunnies were recently added to the Companion Animals.

[Long story short, there are many happy bunnies all around Sunwaning. Somehow, two of them multiplied into several, which is now causing them to be all over the district.

The baby bunnies aren't very different from adults, but are smaller (for now).

Their special ability is that they can find treasure, so it's likely they might get attracted to something on a person or at their house.

They're friendly and get attached to people easily. They do make great pets.]

The--how should we call it?--incident many of us just experienced was probably orchestrated by a woman I've seen before. Around the end of November I travelled with a group to Liar's Mansion. We found out was that the very same woman was conducting experiments on people there. Some had been turned into clocks, some into plants... I saw her by using retrocognition on a file we found there. I'm telling you this now because of her reappearance. Don't bother trying to visit that location, half of it was blown up, the other half is protected with a barrier that the power holders erected... ⁩⁩

⁨⁨Either way, she's kidnapped people from different places, one of which was Sunsprout City. A group of us went there at the start of January and confirmed it was her tied to it all yet again. The good news is that Sunsprout city has been deemed safe, and a good friend of mine has already been and placed a teleport crystal there so other people can go and explore. There were traps in the underground passage, but they should be disabled for anyone visiting now. The barrier surrounding it has been fixed and reapplied, and we met a friendly dragon named Chronos there. If you do visit, make sure to take him something to eat or drink. I imagine he'd quite like the company--as long as you aren't rude like a certain someone was, anyway. ⁩⁩

⁨⁨You can also treat this as a public service announcement of sorts. While there we found a bunch of these little ones.⁩⁩

⁨⁨{ he'll pull a bunny up to show off, which will peer at the camera curiosity. this isn't treasure, why is she being shown this???? one of his cake cats had been playing with them, so that yells in the background--munya!!!--before trying to tackle his phone and the camera away. chaos ensues- he ends up sighing and putting the bunny back down to reach for his phone in one hand, the other trying to appease the cat by giving it pets of apology. }⁩⁩

⁨⁨The point is to be careful if you do come across them, they're friendly... but they multiply fast.⁩⁩

Happy February, everybody!

February is a month meant to celebrate love, so I'd like to remind everyone that if you like or enjoy technology even a little bit, we have a Technology Club that runs every Friday at 1 PM!

We'll also be focusing on teaching people who are interested how to build a computer from scratch. If you have any questions feel free to ask them.

As for everyone else, I'll pose a question: is there something that you'd love to see created as a tech item? If I - or maybe someone else in the club if they see this - are interested, perhaps we'll make an attempt to create it this month!

As we head into February, I wish to draw attention to the calendar! As you can see, instead of a regular EMP/ATP meme we have bimonthly, we're going to have a 4th wall EMP/ATP at the end of the month.

4th wall will happen in March where the event would normally be held. Normal mod announcements and such will still happen.

We hope to see a lot of visitors!

On another note, we will have a special NPC post at the start of this one, regarding the January Event and more. Please look forward to it.

Do they always mean something of significance to the owner? [The charm gets a small wiggle.] This is a red datura, a toxic flower symbolising deception, danger, magic, and forbidden knowledge. Flattering, I'm sure you'd agree.

[As well as having some more personal meaning to Sylus himself.]

It also bears the warning that something beautiful may also be deadly.

[And it matches his eyes. He flips the charm idly between his fingers.]

But putting some small thought to it made me wonder if there is some rhyme or reason to the flowers assigned for our rebirth into this world. Mine has an undeniable connection to me. But what of others?

So, I basically told my Captain that he needs to come with a warning label about being a clean freak and then reminded him he has no idea how to relax and he made me run laps. TT_TT

Am I the asshole?

[The scene opens to Mary with- oh good, that isn't a knife in her hands this time, it's a spatula. Covered in uncooked pancake batter and strawberry jam. Uncooked pancake batter that appears to be sprayed all over the inside of the microwave- along with the rest of the (burned??) jam.

Elsewhere in the kitchen, Rinku's Zubat Hina was attempting to squeeze oranges into a series of glasses- one of which has already toppled over. In her wake, a trail of bitten oranges are left... and one of the blood-juice boxes which had been grabbed by mistake, leaking all over the counter.

Mimi the Mimikyu was watching over the electric kettle, squeaking in distress at the miso soup boiling inside it, tofu and all. Whilst Rinku's Sobble Mecchan was manning the cereal station. And this close to crying over spilt milk and fruit loops.

Whilst Dusty the Shuppet was having far too much fun watching the toaster pop up over and over and over and- that toast had already been burnt to a crisp.

It was not a good morning! Mary addressed the network in a conspiratorial whisper.]

Ali and I want to bring Contests to Ellipsa and show the city just how dazzling Pokemon can be! I've been thinking aaaaall month on how to do that, and I think the first step is getting folks who are interested in Pokemon together. Kind of like the Pokemon Fan Club in Slateport City back home. I'm still working on where and when to meet, but....It not too early to see if anyone is interested!
